Its all a balancing act
The top picture is how I normally feel . . .balancing life and work ..it all feels a little precarious ..
The bottom picture is how I felt during lockdown . . Still balancing but lower to the ground and feeling a bit all over the place

As a designer, Karen Tennent has spent a lot of time looking for just the ‘right‘ chair.
Her design for the Scottish/Canadian co-production First Snow / Première Neige was at the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and had quite a few chairs in it...
She enjoyed looking for the ‘right‘ chairs both in Scotland and in Montreal and felt the ones in Montreal looked like they had French accents!
First Snow /Premier Neige
By Linda McLean, Davey Anderson and Philippe Ducros
Director Patrice Dubois
Designer Karen Tennent
Costume Julie Charland
Lighting Martin Labrecque
Produced by National Theatre of Scotland/ Théâtre PÀP, Montreal

Karen's first show that she remembers seeing was The Crucible at The Gaiety in Ayr.
Her last show before Lockdown was The Secret Garden adapted by Rosalind Sydney at the Traverse Theatre, produced by Red Bridge Arts..
